Quality that stands out and lasts: how Comdecor achieves it

In Comdecor’s world, quality is like stagecraft in a good theatre: when it’s top-notch, no one notices, but the whole performance works. If it is lacking, the whole experience is ruined.
In this article, we discuss what quality in Comdecor products really consists of.
1. Quality starts with the frame, not the picture
The most beautiful visuals won’t save you if the structure is loopy, the corners don’t fit or the system is ‘single use’.
Comdecor’s aluminium profile solutions (e.g. T-FLEX fabric panels/SEG frames, C-Frame systems, light box frames) are based on the idea that the frame must be straight, stable and reusable. This is what keeps the whole surface visually taut and profiled as a “premium”.
How does this affect the customer?
- walls and stands remain smooth even after several installations
- the graphics can be changed without replacing the whole system
- the result always looks “new” and correct
2. Fabric and printing: color must be uniform, surface must be smooth.
The quality advantage of T-FLEX / SEG fabric panels is that the graphics are tensioned and wrinkle-free. This immediately removes the cheap effect: no bubbles, no reflections and no “flapping poster”. The principle of SEG systems is that the silicone edge presses the fabric evenly against the frame – creating a smooth, gallery-like surface.
Comdecor’s fabric printing is done using a water-based dye-sublimation technique, which means that the dye is absorbed into the fibres, rather than as a layer on the surface. The result is:
- a deeper shade that will not crack or peel
- softer, “built-in” color
- better light transmission in light boxes and a more uniform result on large surfaces.
3. Quality of lighting solutions = uniform light + safe material.
For lightboxes and backlit solutions, it is not enough for the light to “go on”. Quality means:
- the lighting does not create ‘spots’ or dark areas
- the fabric diffuses light evenly
- the materials are of a suitable fire safety class for use in public spaces.
T-FLEX lightbox fabrics are designed specifically for backlit use, and dye-sublimation printing ensures that light does not “break” the colour. Many SEG/lightbox fabrics have a B1 fire rating as standard – this is particularly important for trade fairs and public interiors.
4. Logic and experience: quality is a process, not an accident
