At Comdecor, our core principle is to deliver premium quality while continuously introducing the latest innovations in event branding and exhibition hardware. In our industry, reducing the ecological footprint is essential to prevent waste and ensure that our customers benefit from high-quality, durable materials for years to come.
One of our key initiatives is replacing PVC-based materials with eco-friendly alternatives. For instance, we now print large-scale banners on PVC-free mesh and various high-quality fabrics. Such an advertising banner may come at a higher price point, but an increasing number of our clients prioritize sustainability over cost. Beyond environmental benefits, PVC-free fabric is undeniably more professional and aesthetically superior. This makes it easy to advocate for polyester fabrics over traditional materials for indoor branding, regardless of the price difference.

To ensure that fabric graphics are seamless to use at trade fairs and events, we recommend transitioning from classic advertising stands to modern solutions. We offer three specialized product families for fabric applications: composite trusses, the T-Flex profile system, and S-Tube tension fabric structures. S-Tube is a modern replacement for traditional roll-ups, banner stands, and pop-up walls. Our exhibition hardware, such as truss systems, is ideal for building large media backdrops, portable exhibition booths, advertising towers, and pop-up shops. T-Flex is a bespoke profile system used for wall panels, decorative partitions, branded booths, and lightboxes. A new addition to the T-Flex range is acoustic partitions and SEG frames designed to absorb noise.

The primary advantage of all these solutions is their reusability. While many trade fair booths are still built using PVC boards or re-board that are discarded after a single event, our truss and T-Flex systems allow you to simply swap the graphics for the next event. The modular nature of the truss system also means it can be adapted to different exhibition stands and floor sizes. Similarly, with the S-Tube system—unlike traditional roll-ups that are often discarded when the branding becomes outdated—you simply order a new “sock-style” fabric sleeve and continue using the same frame.

In addition to sustainable materials, we use eco-friendly printing processes. While PVC is typically printed with solvent-based solvent inks, we print our fabrics and polyester mesh using water-based inks that comply with the OEKO-TEX standard.
Another area where we make a significant impact is through aluminum recycling. Recycling aluminum requires only 5% of the energy needed to produce primary aluminum from ore—a 20-fold energy saving. While it is often difficult or even impossible to repurpose third-party advertising stands, they can be dismantled and recycled. To support this, we have established a take-back program for aluminum exhibition hardware. We dismantle the units, send recyclable parts for processing, and handle the proper disposal of non-recyclable components at our own expense.
